Spacial is redefining architecture’s most overlooked frontier: permitting. What began as a functional AI tool is now a platform reshaping how homes move from design to approval. Our work repositioned Spacial as the connective layer between architecture, engineering, and local regulation—removing friction and giving architects, builders, and developers a faster path to construction.

The rebrand clarified the promise: “Faster permits. Smarter engineering. No guesswork.” It was about bringing elegance and intelligence to a space often defined by confusion. Spacial isn’t just a proptech tool—it’s infrastructure for modern development.

Visual Identity System

The visual system merges architectural precision with technical clarity. We built around a deep, electric blue—anchoring the identity in credibility and focus—supported by a Volt yellow-green for highlights and energy. Typography is set in Inter, chosen for its digital clarity and structured tone, while layouts emphasize hierarchy, white space, and grid logic.

Iconography and illustrations borrow from the language of plans, CAD views, and permit sets. Every element feels like it belongs on a construction document—yet elevated into a system that’s approachable, modern, and fast.

Design System Principles

The system is built on a modular, blueprint-like grid. UI cards and visual elements float in space, referencing architectural workflows: design → review → permit → build. Every asset lives on a consistent framework—whether it’s a web module, an onboarding animation, or a 3D transformation sequence.

Motion reinforces function. Cards slide forward like plans being submitted. Data hovers, expands, and reveals. Interactions are informed by the act of building—clear steps, grounded actions, no fluff.

Proprietary Tools / Platforms

At the heart of the system is Spacial’s AI permitting engine—a platform that transforms static PDFs into review-ready engineering documents. We supported the creation of custom UI elements, branded dashboards, and visual pipelines to guide users through submission, validation, correction, and approval.

We also introduced Orbit, a brand mascot that personifies the platform. Orbit is both helper and guide—appearing in review modes, status updates, and celebratory moments when permits are approved. Its floating, house-shaped form reflects the platform’s dual nature: grounded in architecture, powered by AI.
